// privacy & data use
What we store, and why.
When you use the contact or subscription forms, we process the details you submit and technical records associated with the request. This page describes data handled by beam-stack.com.
Last updated: 9 September 2026
The contact form
Contact submissions include your name, email address, message, optional company and topic, newsletter choice, request IP address and submission time. We use these records to handle your enquiry and prevent abuse.
Submitting the form stores your enquiry and initiates an email notification. We also attempt to send you an address-confirmation link. Confirming your address is separate from sending the enquiry. The form reports whether the enquiry was received or saved with a notification problem.
The newsletter
We store your email address, confirmation and unsubscribe tokens, subscription status and timestamps. We send a confirmation email when you subscribe. Newsletter updates begin after confirmation. Newsletter consent is separate from submitting an enquiry.
Each newsletter includes an unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing adds your address to a suppression list that excludes it from future newsletter sends, including when you subscribed through the contact form. It does not prevent replies to your enquiries.
Where it lives
Messages are stored in the website’s contact database on our server in Germany and in the receiving mailbox. Resend processes email content to deliver messages. We do not sell or rent your personal data.
How long we keep it
Enquiries remain in the contact database and receiving mailbox so we can follow up on your request. You can contact us to request deletion. IP addresses in the contact database are cleared after 90 days. Newsletter records include a suppression entry after unsubscribe to prevent further newsletter sends.
Your rights
Contact us to ask what personal data we hold about you, request a correction or request deletion. We will assess and handle your request under the applicable data-protection rules.
Products are separate
This notice covers beam-stack.com. Data processing within a product is separate and must be reviewed against that product’s deployment and contractual terms.
